Studio Policies

No chewing gum, eating food or drinking during class, unless otherwise told by their teacher
Students must come to dance prepared
Parents are not allowed in studios without permission from the teachers
Students must come to dance in dress code (i.e hair pulled off of face, safe attire, Leotards, Tights, proper footwear, etc)
Children must have their items labeled with their name or initials
KDC Staff are not responsible for providing child care for students prior or after class. If you dancer is left at the studio unattended for more than 15 minutes, a fee of $1 per minute will be charged to your account. We understand emergencies occur, please communicate with the studio to avoid this charge.
Dance is taught with "hands on" teaching. Please be aware that our teachers may touch your child to correct alignment, placement, posture, etc.
KDC follows Bethlehem School Districts School Calendar. The studio will be closed over breaks. Tuition will stay the same per month, even those months with 5 weeks or months with holidays.

Code of Conduct

Kreative Dance Complex reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose conduct or attitude, or whose parents conduct or attitude is inappropriate or disrespectful.
Students will not speak negatively about another student, teacher, etc
Students are required to follow directions of instructors.
Students must not engage in horseplay or disruptive behavior in the classroom.
Any innapropriate or slanderish remarks about KDC or its staff on any social media site will be cause for immediate dismissal from the studio
Bullying will not be tolerated. We have a ZERO tolerance policy. This is grounds for immediate dismissal from the studio
Students are to keep their cell phones in the bin and are for emergency use only
Kreative Dance Complex assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen property

The following will result in WARNINGS and Possible DISMISSAL

Any repeated violation of the dress code
Multiple UNEXCUSED absenses
NON PAYMENT OF TUITION
BULLYING, RISKY, UNSAFE, or ILLEGAL use of drugs, alcohol, harming or harassing another dancer regardless if in the studio or outside. ANY of these will result in IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL

Communication

Communication will be sent via email through our DSP portal and the BAND app. It is your responsibility to read all messages to stay informed. We will also utilize social media platforms such as FaceBook and Instagram to communicate school closings and important information.

Missed Classes & Make ups

Any missed classes may be made up within one month of missed class. There are no refunds or deductions for missed classes. You must let us know you wish to make up a class to reserve a spot in that class for the makeup.

Enrollment Cancellation

You may withdraw from any recreational classes at any time by giving a 30 day notice via email. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON TUITION PAYMENTS. WE CAN CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT WHEN WE ARE GIVEN A 30 DAY NOTICE. YOU WILL HAVE 1 YEAR FROM DATE OF WITHDRAWAL. The credit can be used on any future classes, camps, workshops, etc.

Registration fees are non refundable
if you drop a class before December 1st a $30 per costume cancellation fee will be charged
NO COSTUME REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER December 1st and no credits given. If costume if not picked up by June 1st it will be forfeited
