KDC Company

Each year a group of dancers from ages 5 to 18 will be selected through the process of audition to become members of the KDC Company Team. They will be led my Natalia Gomez whom has received numerous awards for choreography. Students who train for our company team will be part of a team that is ready to take their dance training to the next level. 

Each week students will train in different styles. Combos will be taught so the instructors can  evaluate skill sets for placement. Students must attend 15 days out of the 25 days. However, ballet tech intensives will be MANDATORY for all students who wish to be part of the company team. 

Audition Day: 

• Learn to be part of a team
• Higher level of choreography
• Learn good sportsmanship through healthy competition
• Master Classes, Guest choreographers, & Conventions
• Solo, Duo, and Trio dances

Company Dancers are REQUIRED to train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, PBT, Bootcamp, Leaps & Turns, & Conditioning. 

Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Acro, and Pointe are optional for company dancers. 

• Summer intensives from July- August
• Choreography weeks last 2 weeks in August
• 1 weekend rehearsal each month, and then 2 weekends during peak comp season
• Spring Recital
• 2-3 Conventions - 2 required 1 optional
• 5-10+ hours per week of training
• National Competition
• Season runs from July-June. 
• 4-5 regional competitions
